I’ve been addicted to Lizano Salsa ever since a friend brought back a bottle from Costa Rica. It’s the country’s answer to tomato ketchup, but it’s so, so much nicer! No meal there, it seems, is complete without a generous dollop of this smooth table sauce. It’s fruity, tangy and zingy, with a perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Lizano goes especially well with chicken, pork and prawns, makes a wonderful alternative to ketchup in a burger and is great for jazzing up rice and beans. It’s difficult to get hold of this side of the Atlantic, and £4.99 for a large 700ml bottle is very good value.

This salsa is fabulous, not too hot but very tangy and tasty, you can use it as as a dip or dressing or as an ingredient in a recipe, it is a classic and well worth a try, do it!!!

Salsa Lizano is great!. It goes very well with chicken, pork, beef, beans, etc. It is not too spicy, so anyone can eat it.

The Best sauce I’ve ever try. Is perfect for marinate meats and seasoning any dish. Tomato sauce for any pasta is way better with Lizano sauce, any mixed rice and even for guacamole, or soups. Definitively recommend to have this sauce in the kitchen to give a unique, tasty and delicious flavor to any dish.
