Queen Majesty Charcoal Ghost Hot Sauce balances a smoky sweetness with a remarkable heat. This original recipe was created in collaboration with the guys from Heatonist for the 2nd anniversary of their Brooklyn tasting room. They wanted to make a sweet (plums & OJ) smoky (chipotle & pasilla negra) and unique hot sauce that could even be used as a super spicy steak sauce.
HEAT LEVEL = VERY HOT
The sauce owes its dark hue to the activated coconut shell charcoal, a mild ingredient with detoxifying properties.
We missed out on the first batch made but it's back by popular demand so we snagged some quickly!
